Merlin vs. Vanda | FD5797

Merlin tries very hard to defeat the beautiful and dangerous Vanda in front of the live audience. The spectators were not cheering only for the female and in fact there were good applauses when the man scored after dominating, pinning merciless and scissoring his opponent. Vanda and Merlin fought a very fair match, man vs woman, and after a second submission scored by Merlin it seemed that Vanda will finally lose a mixed match. But soon, the agonising Merlin submitted to a decisive hold, just in front and at the feet of a delighted female spectator. Sweaty and motivated, they both engage in very hard struggling and Merlin pins exhausted Vanda, trying to secure his victory. But...

Just for a little bit of context, I believe Vanda had already had four or five matches prior to this and I believe Merlin was fresh. just goes to show her incredible stamina and ability. Believe me when I say I was exhausted after one of those matches, so kudos and respect to Vanda for making a close competitive match here with Merlin.

Merlin may have gained some muscles recently which at times helps him to overpower Vanda with brut force and bodyscissors. But Vanda is resilient and quicker than Marlin in transitioning between holds which allows her to achieve a great comeback in this very balanced match. Merlin actually behaves here and doesn’t get under the skin of the female opponent as he usually does, maybe it was the presence of spectators or the respect for Vanda.

Great fight between two evenly matched warriors. The resulting score leaves an opening for a rematch between the two!
