This is a very intriguing fight; I had expected Andy to entirely dominate a newly returned Mary Ann and win by a large margin. This fight is actually very close and is only decided at the very end.
Andy dominates most of the proceedings; she is faster and more mobile than Mary Ann and this, combined with her strength, allows her to keep Mary Ann down for much of the fight. The contrast in fighting styles is very interesting. Andy fights like a well trained professional and uses a number of wrestling techniques. Mary Ann by contrast comes off as an emotional brawler desperate to prove that she can still compete against the likes of Andy.
Mary Ann's resilience is really shown here. Andy traps Mary Ann in a number of holds that would have a lesser woman tapping immediately; Mary Ann instead endures the punishment before escaping to take Andy on head on.
A very good fight, when Mary Ann get back to where she once was it'll be even better.
