Donna vs. Mickey | FD0115

I hate to be the party pooper here, but I personally found this production to be disappointing and uninteresting, largely because Mickey seemed simply to be going through the motions for much of the time. As ever, Donna is energetic, sexy and in beautiful shape, but the point of that silly little Ra Ra Skirt was lost on me and I found it increasingly irritating. It looked as if the match was taking place in that famous garden of DWW/FD and I found myself taking sentimental note of every tree and bush that seemed familiar and brought back a thousand happy memories (I couldn't spot the famous garden hut, however).

I have watched quite a few of the mixed matches, and this is the first I have commented. This is a good match, neither wrestler is technically skilled at this stage but both grapple to win. The reason I comment is that this match is won on strength advantage. Clearly Donna held that edge, which might come as surprise given slight size difference. She won this by overpowering..and the ability to power out of holds that Mickey in return could not. Great match from both..she was just stronger and used that in her favor to control a match that Mickey otherwise could have won if strength were more balanced.

Searching older matches, this one being over 5.5 years ago just tells us Donna was just giving us a taste of what is coming from this beauty. The prediction Donna made only laid the groundwork for her complete and utter slam duck of this guy.

Although both side record pins in this contest, the match is quite one-sided. Donna as usual is the aggressor here, is quicker than Mickey, and show great strength, both in her legs (Mickey cannot suffer her scissors for more than a few seconds, and her grapevine is immobilizing) and her upper body (on many occasions, as Mickey is on top going for the pin, Donna merely rolls him over, mounts him, and goes for the pin of her own--great core strength). The second half of the match is a nightmare for Mickey, and the pose in picture 6 marks the end of the slaughter.

Donna started a little slow in this match but when she got going, watch out. She's 4 inches shorter and 13 pounds lighter than Mickey. Forget those differences, it didn't matter.

Donna just seems to overpower her opponent and Mickey can't budge her when she applies a grapevine. She is not only great to watch but skilled and very strong. The fact is that description can be applied to all of these women in Fighting Dolls. I wonder where they find these tigers.

I would have liked to seen arm wrestling at the end but we do get to see Donna pose. Wow what sexy muscles. I'm now a big Donna fan.
